Hardship Fund Applications

The ongoing financial crisis has significantly impacted many individuals and families across the United Kingdom. In response, Beaumont Leys Muslims (BLM) has established a Hardship Fund to provide financial support to our community members who are in need. This initiative is designed to assist Muslims in the Beaumont Leys area who meet specific eligibility criteria.

Purpose of the Fund:

The BLM Hardship Fund is intended to offer financial aid to those experiencing economic difficulties. The support provided will be based on the applicants' individual needs and the fund's available resources.

Eligibility Criteria:

Due to the limited nature of the funds, we are unable to assist everyone. To ensure fairness and transparency, the following requirements must be met to qualify for financial assistance:

  • Religious Affiliation: Applicants must be Muslims.
  • Geographical Proximity: Applicants must reside within a one-mile radius of Beaumont Leys Muslims.
  • Community Involvement: Applicants must be actively involved in the Beaumont Leys Masjid community.
  • Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate dire financial need.

Although we recommend that you apply to statutory agencies to obtain support, we are happy to do what we can to provide some financial assistance and guidance during difficult times.
